Laura's care and compassion meant the world to me and were something that I truly needed during one of the most trying times in my life.
I was admitted into the hospital around midnight, Covid positive with the onset of pneumonia. It was the sickest I have ever been in my life. Laura came on shift at 3:30 pm that day and was on shift for 12 hours the next 2 days. Under her care, I never wanted for anything. But most importantly she kept reassuring me that I was getting better. Her care and compassion meant the world to me and were something that I truly needed during one of the most trying times in my life. The moment that I really realized how amazing she is was when I left the room with an aide to test my oxygen levels while walking. I saw how many patients were actually on the floor and how the staff was spread so thin. I’m sure that everyone on the floor received the same care as I did. Laura is an amazing nurse and she is my angel. I will be forever grateful.
