Laura has been a fantastic nurse leader who has worked above and beyond in our office, not only to improve patient care but also to streamline processes to enhance patient outcomes. She has taken on our initiative to reduce the number of patients in the office who have INR lab draws to monitor their Warfarin. She took it upon herself to be a leader and determine that our office was servicing 56 patients with INR draws. She worked tirelessly to connect with these patients, convert those who were able to home monitoring, transition them to Eliquis, and ensure patients had the necessary support throughout this process. I would like to thank Laura for her leadership and recognize her tremendous work.
