I have had many surgeries and I have many medical problems. Laura Fiess came to my home to admit me to homecare. She spent so much time at each and every visit to make sure my pain was relieved, that I was following my exercise program, that I had made my doctor appointment, that I was eating properly, that I was not depressed and that my family was taking care of me. I tend to get anxious and do things too fast and Laura would remind me to slow down, remain calm. She listened to me patiently with compassion for what I was going through. She was delightful and warm.

There was something about her that while she was there and for a while after she left that I felt calm and peaceful that everything would be okay. Because of Laura and her care I recovered much faster from this surgery than I have in the past. Her attention to what was happening to me and making changes to my routine and teaching me how to take my medications properly allowed me to feel better sooner and I think because I knew I had someone to turn to who cared about me, helped me to relax and recover so much faster.

Laura's compassion for me was so special. She was the most delightful and warm person that I have ever met.
