In what may be one of the least glamorous fields in Nursing, you are fortunate to have a shining star in this nurse and her extensive knowledge and experience combined with a reassuring and calming approach to helping patients deal with the changes they face in their life with ostomies. What could be an embarrassing experience was transformed to a friendly and comfortable educational opportunity coupled with a genuine and sincere concern for the patients and their family/spouse's ability to take care of themselves in a confident and supportive manner.

With Laura Fogle's guidance and patience we learned to take care of my new needs in a stress free and confident manner. Her willingness to be available by phone to answer questions at any time has provided us with a reassuring safety net during this transitional period that we have utilized several times to insure that we are comfortable with dealing with this new reality.
