A man ran into the main entrance needing assistance for his friend who had been shot. Laura saw the car drive up and knew something was wrong. She came into the lobby and out to the car to access the hurt victim. She grabbed a wheelchair and transferred him from his car and wheeled him to the Emergency room. Laura yelled for us to call rapid response when she knew what was happening. She really took charge of the situation and responded until rapid response could arrive.
