Laura was my mother's nurse one day while she was on comfort care. When she first came into the room, I could tell she was going to be great. She was so kind and empathetic. She asked what my mom liked to be called, she called her Mrs. P every time she went to give her meds or do anything for her. We started my mom on meds every hour and Laura set the alarm on her watch so she would be here. We never once had to call for meds when Laura was our nurse. She is a true definition of selflessness! When we complimented her on the excellent care, she said she just treats her patients the way she would want her family treated. She truly loves her patients and makes sure they get the best care possible.

My mom has been in and out of the hospital for the last month and had many good nurses but Laura was exceptional and is most worthy of the DAISY Award!
