Laura K Bowers, RN

Laura Bowers is one of a kind. I first met Laura fourteen years ago when I was pregnant with my first son. Even though I was excited to be a mom, I was very nervous about my health, both mentally and physically. I suffer from a generalized anxiety disorder, and Laura time and again offered outstanding support and encouragement to me and often said, “You’ve got this.” I truly believe that my pregnancies with both of my children were successful due to Laura’s support. I am blessed to know Laura as she has always stood beside me and has always believed in me. A few years ago, my journey with my health shifted with hormonal changes as I found myself entering perimenopause, one of the biggest challenges of my life. The first person to once again help/encourage me was Laura. Because of Laura, I took that leap that I didn’t think I could do. I underwent preventative tests that were necessary but also gave me anxiety. It is important to note that one person can make a difference and help change your life just by offering support. Laura has been there every step of the way with my journey, and just when I think I can’t do something, she reminds me that I can and that I’m worth it. People like Laura help you realize that you are loved, and you can do hard things!
