Laura K Phillips, EdD, RN, CNE

This person demonstrates the qualities of being tough, honest, transparent, strong personality, motivational coach, supportive, and advocate that we need as nursing students. She is the perfect professor at this point in our nursing student career. The hard training coming from someone that honestly cares about how we make it as a nurse. She does not smooth anything over for us, she does not make things pretty, she gives us exactly what we need and prepares us for life as a nurse. We will be tougher, ready, exposed, and ready for anything after having her as a professor, leader, and friend. We trust her, we look up to her, we believe her, and we know that she wants the best for us. I thank God that she is with us during this journey and for the positive impact she has had on all of us.
