Laura has spent her life here at Children's helping to care of the sickest of the sick. She is the heart and soul of the ECMO Team.
When we started the ECMO program, she became the coordinator of the program. Laura was there beside us as we learned a new way of caring for our critically ill babies. Over the years, she has spent many days and nights helping to cover ECMO when we were short staffed.
Laura has been a teacher, mentor, preceptor and friend through the good and bad times. She is exceptional!
