Laura was my friend's nurse for the first 4 days he was in the hospital. My friend explained to me how Laura cared for him as an individual. Even after Laura was no longer his nurse, she cared for him throughout his entire stay. She had concern for him and compassion for his family. Because of her concern, she stood out among the other nurses. She called us by name and that meant a lot to us, that she remembered.
