Laura M Metcalf, RN

Laura Metcalf cared for me on L15 as a Clinical Support Worker and as a Student Nurse when I first came out of my coma twelve years ago. I spent months in that ward, and she was exceptional then. I recently returned to ward L35 to meet her again as a full-time nurse. I am an ex-addict in recovery, and I feel that this can be difficult sometimes in care settings for me.
Laura was amazing. She was totally nonjudgemental, interested in my recovery and how, as a nurse, she could help me navigate the road of pain management to help that recovery. She's kind, upbeat, and totally patient-focused. She one hundred percent should be recognized for her outstanding work and skills as a great nurse and a kind, thoughtful, and amazing lady!
