August 2022 Honoree
Laura Maditz, MSN, RN, CV-BC
Laura was constantly checking on R, seeing if he needed or wanted anything. She was very professional, but warm and comforting when we had concerns. She explained every procedure that was being done and answered all questions we had. Then a foley catheter had to be used, she demonstrated every step and talked us through cleaning and using this product. No question was taken lightly, and she made this job, as bad as it is, very easy for a layman to do after leaving the hospital. Laura saw to R’s comfort and needs without delay. She made sure he was very well taken care of. He was never left alone with no one caring for him. As family, Laura was very much appreciated knowing if I wasn’t there, he was looked after and cared for. It made our life easier to have her. I’m deeply grateful for all her time and effort during R’s stay. God Bless Laura and all the staff.
Thank you, Laura, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
