Laura was nominated by three of her colleagues for being a beacon of hope and stability within the mother/baby unit. She was nominated for going beyond the call of duty to lead and support her team. She is always available to everyone on her team and provides the necessary tools to foster team cohesiveness.
“Laura leads by example, never asking her staff to do anything she wouldn’t do herself. She is humble and not afraid to admit when she’s made a mistake. Laura regularly visits the floor to check on staff, ensuring we have everything we need to perform our jobs effectively. Her approachability and heartfelt leadership make her a joy to work with,” the nominator says.
