Laura was my nurse when I was admitted 1 week after surgery. I had abdominal surgery and was leaking into my abdominal area, I was septic. I cannot recall any of this, however my family has told me that if not for Laura calling the doctor as soon as the CT results came back, I might not have made it. She was very insistent that the doctor read the results. She kept my family calm during a very scary time. She had taken care of me in previous visits and knew something was wrong. I know this is what she does day in and day out, my family and I accredit her, Dr. M and the ED staff for saving my life. Thank you, Laura, for your care.
