Laura helped me bathe my baby as I could not do it myself. She helped me change her into her clothes and did not finish her night shift till after 9 am.
I was in the labour ward last week for four nights; I, unfortunately, needed to be induced as my baby girl's heart stopped beating. I gave birth last Thursday and both Laura and Becca were there to deliver my angel, it was a traumatic and awful experience for me - but they both were amazing and helped me get through.
Laura helped me bathe my baby as I could not do it myself. She helped me change her into her clothes and did not finish her night shift till after 9 am. She was also back the same night on duty. All the midwives were exceptionally nice and compassionate towards us during our stay. Kiran was our nurse on the day and took my baby for her hand and footprints, she even cut some bits of her hair for me to keep in her memory box. And for that, I will be forever grateful!
Rebecca, Kiran, and Laura were extraordinary and made a difference in my traumatic childbirth experience, giving me precious time and support with my beautiful baby girl.
