Laura has developed into a perfect leader. I joined the department many years ago. It has been amazing to watch her go from charge to manager to director. She takes time for each individual. She is very involved and makes sure everyone's needs are met. She helps us with all of our patients to the best of her efforts. She works 12-14 hours a day for 14-21 days in a row. She has exceptional skills and is never too busy to help with the patients or run the board. She encourages the staff to achieve accomplishments. If I ever need her, she is only a phone call away. She accommodates staff by helping them move to other positions. Laura is very supportive and will always act as your cheerleader. She is a leader and a friend, and it is a joy to work with her. She encourages our personal growth and she leads by example. Laura is the perfect person to lead this ER and I am sure we will be implementing more of her ideas into our new space. Working with her is a pleasant experience and is very rewarding.
