Laura demonstrates incredible teamwork. She truly cares about the patients and the nurses she is working with. She is an incredible resource and very knowledgeable and will always go out of her way to ensure the floor is functioning as smoothly as possible. She often will be helping other nurses before getting to tasks that she needs to do, and always jumps to her feet if another nurse's IV pump is beeping or if someone is asking for assistance. Laura is the ultimate patient advocate and is a great role model in this respect. Laura always reminds staff that we are here for the patient. She is never afraid to advocate for a patient. She adjusts staffing to account for acuity and she leads with courage and compassion.
