She comforted me, was trustworthy, and her years of experience as a mother and nurse shined through.
During my induction, my baby was breeched. The physicians all recommended I get a C-section which was not in my plans and against my wishes. She advocated for me to have more time and think about it and on her own, she put me on my side with my head positioned all the way back. Less than 2 hours later the baby’s head was all the way down. She comforted me, was trustworthy, and her years of experience as a mother and nurse shined through. From her holding my shoulder during the epidural because I kept slouching and not stopping pushing. She was my rock; I could not have done it without her pushing a 9-pound baby out and remaining the least stressed as possible. Never aggressive or pushy. She kept me grounded and I felt like she was family. Honestly, as a third-time mom and V-BAC, she is a true anomaly. When I had to use the bathroom, she did not leave my side. I’m forever grateful for her service and professionalism. Because her compassion and attitude were the best. I credit her for taking (care of) my baby and speaking to her in-vitro to turn.
