Laura Rebsamen, RN
I'll just start by saying Laura is just all around an amazing nurse. I have been here for 17 days, and she has definitely been by far the most diligent, knowledgeable, kind, caring nurse with the most amazing bedside manner I have encountered yet.
I’m in here for weaning off of benzos, and she doesn’t treat me any differently than any of her other patients. Some nurses treat me differently, like I’m a criminal, but Laura, on the other hand, understands that addiction is a disease and she treats me as an equal.
She genuinely cares about my problems; she promptly answers my questions or refers me to someone who can. These are just a few of the reasons I am nominating her for this prestigious award. She truly deserves it.
