During rounds recently, I observed and heard Laura speaking with the parents of a child who was to have surgery. The mother, when Laura introduced herself, stated that she remembered Laura when their other child had surgery. Laura took the time to relay all information to the parents, as well as affording them the opportunity to ask questions, even though this was really a revisit. Laura did not rush the conversation and was informative and caring in her demeanor. Laura does this not only for this instance, but consistently provides her patients with the same level of care, communication and comfort. Laura demonstrates the Mission of Compassionate Care, Healthcare Excellence and Superior Service to all.
