On a recent evening I walked past the room of one of Laura's patients. This was an elderly woman. Laura was rubbing her back as the patient had compressions fractures and was in severe pain. Laura continued this for at least 15 minutes. The patient was visibly comforted by her presence and her actions. This is not the first time Laura has gone the extra mile for patients. She is a great nurse and an excellent co-worker.
