Laura Silvey, RN

I am a 61-year-old Navy Vet with chronic lung disease. Since moving here 9 years ago I’ve been admitted in this hospital over a dozen times. Many good experiences with many good nurses. Laura stands far above any of them. Her patience with me would shame Florence Nightingale. I can be demanding but no matter my complaints or wants she comes through always with a smile and a willingness to please. I also appreciate her technical knowledge and professional demeanor, traits that seem rare to find in this century. The main point I want to make is if you are her patient you feel safe, loved, and that she truly cares about her patients and that they are not just her job. This hospital has a wonderful asset and I believe she is a gift from God.
