Laura restored my faith in the healthcare system. Laura met us with caring, compassion, and empathy. All things that seem to have been lost after Covid. She was attentive from the moment we met her. She made sure not only that my father was cared for, but the family as well. I have been a nurse for almost 20 years now. She emulates a nurse who is not doing it for the “money,” but for the true passion of caring for others. I would be honored to work side by side with her. I wanted to nominate Laura Skaggs for this award. Although my dad passed away, I am at peace knowing he had amazing care until his last breath. Laura is so deserving of this! My family will be forever grateful for the amazing care she provided.
