Laura is an exceptionally compassionate and caring nurse, always listening to my mother with great empathy. She uses terms of endearment constantly not only with my mother but also to all her colleagues. My mother is 85 years old and could easily be dismissed as old, and on her way out. Laura treats her as a cherished family member, like her own mother or grandmother in every interaction. During the recent days in the hospital, Laura explained carefully and respectfully what is happening.
