Laura Straley, RN

Laura came in on her day off to graciously take a very sick patient on a special Impella machine to help rest a patient’s heart post-heart attack. There are not too many nurses qualified to take care of this specialized patient. ICU is grateful for compassion in this field of nursing and help on a very busy high activity ICU unit. Laura came in on the night shift and worked 12 hours. She has a positive attitude, a healing presence, and excellent skills.
