Laura was taking care of a patient in Room C302 and after all the patient had been through Laura was willing to go above and beyond her role and do something nice for her patient. The patient had a gastric procedure years ago and has to eat a bariatric diet, he had gone all day with no food and the cafeteria had closed. Laura went to Kroger and bought the patient bariatric specific food out of her own pocket. Laura exemplified Christ's ministry through compassionate concern. I always enjoy working with Laura, she is an excellent nurse! CCU is lucky to have her!
