Laura was nominated by a physician colleague who recognized Laura's immense passion and empathy for our pediatric population. Laura cared for a young patient who had a very poor prognosis and her last wish was to be able to learn the violin. Laura took it upon herself to pay for violin lessons for the young patient so she could grant her wishes. This goes beyond extraordinary efforts to ensure the well-being of our littlest ones.
