This is a well-deserved accolade and strong recommendation for Ms. Laurel Bell, a nurse at the Cedar Park VA clinic, to be honored with a DAISY Award for her exemplary service to Veterans. As a Veteran, I highly appreciate Ms. Laurel Bell's professionalism. Ms. Laurel Bell is a caring individual, who sets a very high standard that should be held up as an example for other individuals in the VA system to follow. Ms. Bell has helped me on numerous occasions by functioning as a liaison between me and my doctor; thus serving me and my doctor by freeing up his time to see and care for other Veterans. As such, Laurel has been instrumental in helping me set lab/doctor appointments, resolve medication issues, and a host of other concerns. She has earned my trust as a nurse who places the best interest of the Veteran above her own self-interests. In other words, I find her to be a selfless individual whose primary interest is the service of our country's Veterans. Ms. Laurel Bell has always treated me with the utmost respect and dignity. She has earned the honor of a DAISY Award.
