My brother was nearing the end of life and required transitioning to General Inpatient Hospice. Laurel was instrumental in being proactive and helping us achieve the appropriate referrals and tools to make this as seamless as possible. Her genuine compassion, kindness, and empathy were truly remarkable and appreciated. You cannot teach these traits. Her heart shows through in the care and attention she provided not only to my brother but to me as well. Healthcare needs more like her. Thank you for being amazing when we needed it the most. Even when she was assigned to another nurse, she made a point to check on both of us and offer kind words and support. Her love of her job shines through. She is an asset to her profession.
