Lauren Ayres, RN

In January 2021, I was a patient at Torrance Memorial fighting for my life with COVID. I was in the ICU and received amazing care from my nurse, Lauren. She was so helpful in keeping my family aware of my condition on a daily basis. She came in to take care of me on her days off. She set up computer calls with all of my children all over the country nightly when I was on the breathing machine. They would give me encouragement even when I could not talk. I know Lauren‘s care was responsible for saving my life- I don't even know everything she did because I wasn't awake for most of it. All I know is that she is my Angel and I am sure I would not be here to nominate her for this award if she had not done so much for me. I will forever be grateful for her care of me at this terrible time for me and all of my family.
