I transferred to this unit in 2022 and it was immediately apparent Lauren was and remains an exceptional nurse. Lauren cares for each of her patients as if they were her own family members. She has incredible knowledge, wonderful people skills, is reliable, dependable and is always lending her teammates a helping hand. Lauren is the perfect example of not just what an AdventHealth nurse should be, but what Florence Nightingale would want all nurses to be! She has sound critical thinking skills, remarkable time management skills, is a team player, and a compassionate caregiver. She develops a trusting relationship with all her patients, and I frequently received compliments about her from her patients and other staff members, I wish I could replicate Lauren a hundred times and I hope she receives three hundred more DAISY Awards because she deserves every one of them. She is very much appreciated, and I hope she knows that.
