Lauren Diaz 2026, MSN, RN
Lauren Diaz is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Nursing and has been a practicing Postpartum Registered Nurse for the past 10 years. Throughout her clinical career, she has been dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to postpartum patients and their families while supporting new parents during one of life's most significant transitions.
In 2024, Lauren joined the University of Illinois Chicago as a clinical instructor, where she is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters confidence, critical thinking, and clinical judgment in future nurses. She incorporates active learning strategies, simulation, and evidence-based practice to help students bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and clinical practice. Lauren is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a concentration in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of Illinois Chicago. Lauren is committed to advancing women's health through clinical practice, education, and mentorship while inspiring the next generation of nurses to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
