Lauren is an asset to Banner Hospital. She is an exceptional caregiver with great knowledge, empathy, a positive attitude, and kind communication. Lauren was my nurse after my catheterization/angioplasty in which I had to lie flat for eight hours to prevent bleeding. After three hours of firmly pushing on my insertion site to stop the bleeding, she was empathetic saying how sorry she was for the pain (necessary discomfort) she was causing. She called for a cold icepack for my head. Over the next four hours, my back was sore, and I was unable to move; Lauren called for another longer ice pack and rolled me onto my side by herself, while another nurse placed the ice pack under my back. She was with me most of the time, trying to keep me comfortable as possible and upbeat. Lauren goes above and beyond and deserves accolades for her exceptional skills and compassion.

I would like to thank Lauren Douglas for always helping her co-workers. She takes time to make sure all of us are taken care of, even when she has her hands full. She is one of the best nurses I have ever worked with. Thank you for all you do for us in CPCU. Our patients are in the best care when you are their nurse and I love working with you because you teach me so much. Your kindness, compassion, and hard work does not go unnoticed.
