Lauren Foster, RN II

Lauren demonstrated her compassion for patient care. It did not go unnoticed by the family of a patient she cared for. They commended her on caring for all aspects including answering questions, being attentive, and teaching her student in the process. The family witnessed Lauren ending her shift but rounded on her and noted her decline. She called the rapid response team and went into action and clearly communicated the history of the patient leading up to the rapid response covering all the details. The family stated, “she was truly our angel” and commended her for caring for their Mom and Grandma as if she was her own family member.
