Our family was blessed to have this nurse as my wife's ICU nurse. She consistently provided exceptional care and support to my wife. My wife had a fall from a horse, receiving several broken ribs and a collapsed lung. She eased our concern with her demonstrated professionalism as an outstanding ICU nurse. She kept us informed on the care she was providing and informed of the steps to recovery. Her energy and positive attitude were very comforting to the family and helped relieve the stress and anxiety we were feeling due to the accident. She consistently exemplified the traits of an Extraordinary Nurse, going above and beyond for the family.

In our opinion, she is an example of the high level of care provided by the Fort Walton-Destin Hospital and is a true DAISY Nurse. Our family also wants to recognize all of the medical and support personnel we came into contact with during my wife's hospitalization. We have nothing but high praise for everyone we came into contact with from the ER trauma room nurses to the entire ICU staff. Each and every one we met was very professional and reflect great credit on the Fort Walton-Destin Hospital.
