My father was taken to Huber Urgent Care, then over to the ED. I arrived after 7:30 pm and Lauren was his nurse. From the moment I met her, she became like family. She took excellent care of him. She joined in our comedy show. My father’s nervousness came out as comedy the more he realized this was serious. She did an amazing job keeping us informed on his test results. She was kind, reliable and friendly. She and the doctor worked to keep him comfortable while watching his lab test numbers closely. Up until they transferred him to Dayton that night, she was the nurse we needed in this situation. Thanks, Lauren, for understanding my family’s comedic side during Dad’s visit to the ED. You are truly an exceptional nurse. I know all of your patients get the same care. You were concerned about him once the numbers came back extremely high. You are a joy to be around!
