Lauren Hill 2023, BSN,RN

Lauren was working in the ED when a patient arrived with a known fetal demise. Lauren immediately took action to ensure that this patient was taken to a private space and made as comfortable as possible and she did not hesitate to jump into action when things did not go as planned. Lauren remained calm, and most importantly, compassionate to this patient's loss throughout her entire stay. She was assigned to a different unit when the patient came out of surgery but still made it a point to check on her and her husband prior to them being discharged. Lauren went above and beyond to provide this patient with a positive experience during such a terrible time. This is just one example of the true compassion that Lauren shows every patient, every day.
