It had already been a long stay in the hospital for me when I first had Lauren as my nurse. You know you're in good hands. Vitals and drug administering, and such are done with utmost care. My scheduled meds were always brought in when due. Her skills as a nurse are beyond impressive. Pair that with a caring and warm personality and you have a DAISY Nurse. When you're under her care it's like having an old friend look after you. One evening while Lauren was taking my vitals, I was also speaking with my wife on video chat. We all just fell into conversation about whatever. Well, I guess part of the conversation touched on my 13-year-old daughter's badminton tryouts. She had made the first 2 cuts and was waiting to hear if she made the team. Well, the next time I saw Lauren, she excitedly asked if my daughter made the team. That just touched my heart. She really cares about the people she treats.
