Lauren John, MSN, RN

Lauren John developed a connection with a patient who arrived with a C2 fracture after a suicide attempt. This patient was anxious and afraid, but Lauren was able to help this patient pass with dignity and facilitated a beautiful celebration of life involving her whole family. She even stayed after her shift to ensure that the patient’s wishes were met and to advocate for patient comfort in their final hours.
