Lauren Keane, RN
I am crying right now because Lauren got me through such a difficult time. Originally, I had a bowel resection, and I ended up with a Wound Vac dressing. Lauren changed the dressings, and she took great care of me. She is extremely professional. She is sweet and cares about patients.
She is so incredible: such a hard worker. I watched her train two other nurses, and she was a great teacher, too.
During the course of my illness, I ended up with a bad infection and had another surgery, and I worried that I would lose Lauren as my Home Health nurse. She reassured me that she was going to keep taking care of me. She is compassionate, caring, professional, reassuring, and punctual.
I cried all the time, and she cared. She understood, was empathetic, and told me that crying was OK. I don't know how I would have made it through without Lauren. She was so special. Lauren and I had an incredible rapport. She always answered me if I texted her; she was very responsive when I needed supplies or anything. She is a wonderful person and a true DAISY Nurse.
