Lauren Lyons, RN

Nurse Lauren has been caring for me for two nights now. I'm here for suspected meningitis. I had random pains in my spine and became terrified. Lauren kept her cool, first caring for me with hot and cold packs, then consulting the doctor present. She stayed by my side and kept my mom informed on the phone so she didn't have to come to the hospital at 3 am. I was given pain medicine, and she made sure to check on me and assist me in falling asleep since I have a hard time sleeping, and sleep aids are too harsh. I got the most sleep because of Lauren, and she really made me feel like she cared, like family. I'm in the hospital very often and typically go to OSU. This is my first visit to OhioHealth Pickerington, and thanks to nurses like Lauren, I'm coming back! Please keep up the training and the great nurse selection. They made me see the hospital as a safe place where I can get help with my physical and mental health.
