Lauren is my favorite. She is literally the sweetest one I've met yet. The NICU told me after the second time that I wouldn't be able to visit again until she was released, and Lauren did not take that answer. She got on that phone and also arranged for a third meeting!

I bawled my eyes out. She is an extremely smart, strong, sweet, kind woman who also cares for her patients. When I would get sad, she would talk to me, hold my hand, and comfort me. She is so gentle with me when my body hurts and makes sure to do whatever it takes to ease my pain. Due to me being on an ECMO machine, she always eased my worry and dried my tears.

When I got up and would walk, she always cheered me on and helped motivate me. She even washed my hair with real shampoo and conditioner, also scrubbed my scalp! It was sooo relaxing I almost fell asleep. Lauren then braided my hair. Nobody realizes how much the small things like that matter, especially when you're in the hospital.

She made me feel fresh and clean like a whole new woman, considering my options. She has a motherly instinct I can feel every single time I see her, and she always comforts me before any procedure I have because I would get severe anxiety. She talked to me and comforted me like a mother would her daughter. She deserves this DAISY award the most.

She is just an all-around wonderful and beautiful woman. I am so proud to have met her and call her my friend. She has the sweetest smile, warmest heart, and most caring soul. I just love her to death! She is the absolute best.

Thank you, Lauren M, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
