Lauren M. Thompson, BSN, RN

Lauren, the RN in the ICU at Pelham was truly outstanding in every way. My wife was suffering from pancreatitis, very unexpected. Lauren was skilled and compassionate recognizing the distraught nature of me and our 4 sons, and 8 grandchildren. Lauren was calm and professional throughout that tough day before my wife was moved from Pelham Medical Center to Spartanburg, where she passed away the next day. I will never forget Lauren's concern for my wife and for my family. She is a wonderful, valuable asset to Pelham Medical Center and our community. In these sad days, Lauren's performance provides some degree of joy.
