Lauren McDonald, RN

My family and I would love to nominate Lauren McDonald, 3 East RN, for The DAISY Award. Lauren cared for our loved one after a recent amputation. Lauren exhibited all of the characteristics of an "Extraordinary Nurse." She provided genuine, quality care. She established a special connection with our loved one, as well as the family. She was very understanding, empathetic, and professional and provided patient care in a very effective, timely manner. We knew our loved one was in great hands with Lauren. Our loved one hasn't smiled much lately, but Lauren was able to bring a smile to his face. We are truly grateful for her and the dedication she proudly delivers through such a caring role. Lauren is a role model for all nurses and is more than deserving of this award.
