Lauren was my nurse in the ICU after I had a large mass in my brain removed. She simply refused to let me be in pain, physically or mentally. Lauren was genuinely interested in me as a person and not just as a patient. I was subconsciously singing The Beatles "Yellow Submarine" as I came out of anesthesia. Even in that state, I noticed Lauren humming and singing along. Lauren is my angel and her level of human kindness is so genuine.
