Speaking as the brother of the patient I would like to thank Lauren Mumford, my sister's nurse, for the outstanding care of my sister. Lauren never left her side and as busy as she was and always took the time to inform us of what she was doing. Lauren never left her side, except to occasionally come outside the room to let us know how she was doing. Lauren was very busy with her, but very calm and very much in control of my sister's situation. Lauren also took my sister to the ICU department after she was stable enough and helped to get her settled in her room. Lauren then came out to the waiting room to let us know my sister was in her room and being well cared for by the ICU nursing staff. Lauren then gave us all a big hug before returning to the ER department.
Thanks to all the ER staff caring for my sister, but especially thank you, Lauren Mumford, for the care you gave my sister from the time she got there until the time you took her to the ICU. You're just awesome and a true DAISY Nurse. Our whole family thanks you!!
