Lauren Peledge is Winchester Hospital’s most recent recipient of the DAISY Award for exemplifying extraordinary compassion and sensitivity to others. Lauren was recognized by a colleague for managing a clinically difficult situation with great skill and compassion.
“I watched Lauren and was in awe at how calm she remained as she collaborated with the other nurses, the clinical nurse specialist and her unit team. She assigned each of us a task to expedite care of the patient and she did all of this with a smile and gentle touch to the patient.”
