Just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for everything you did for me last year during my hysterectomy. I tried sending a note on the one year marker. You may not remember me, but I am so, so grateful for the great care you took of me during my two procedures last year. I'm sorry it took so long to thank you properly.

That was the first medical event I had to go through without my mother. Both parents passed away within 30 days of one another about 8 months prior to my surgery. My mom was always the one to take care of me in situations like that because my husband has a hard time with hospitals. I was especially scared of the procedure on my ureter the day following my hysterectomy and you were the calm in my storm. I feel like my Mom sent you there to take care of me! So thank you again for everything... I'm eternally grateful to you for the amazing care you provided. You are great at your job!

I tried making a donation through the foundation so that you might be recognized through your work. Keep kicking ass and being one of the best nurses out there! Also, my ureter reimplantation surgery went great and I was officially released by my surgeon. No other issues since that time! Happy to have that chapter behind me!
