Lauren demonstrates strong Barstow spirit in everything she does and every encounter she has with the staff, doctors, visitors, and especially patients. She is always caring and compassionate helping patients through difficult labor or dealing with a sick baby. Her knowledge is top-notch and her teaching skills are above any other. She, along with a peer, developed and provide an amazing helping service to parents who have lost a neonate. They did this on their own and it's a blessing to our community.
She is always there for her patients, ready to teach, provide comfort or support when they need it. She has a kind demeanor and a caring approach we all strive to work toward. Parents say how lucky we are to have her for a nurse and her team to have her for a mentor and leader.
Lauren is a loving and caring individual who cares about everything that is nursing. I would go so far as to say Florence Nightingale reborn. I hope to continue to learn and grow with Lauren as a leader at Barstow Hospital. I sincerely appreciate all that she does for all of us, patients, families, staff and doctors alike. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
