First off, she indulged me by speaking French with me throughout my long stay, even though I’m sure she had to work hard to figure out what I was trying to say. She went above and beyond, however, when it came to tracking down supplies for my ureteroscopy. She had to be creative and determined to figure out what supplies I needed (the number was barely readable on the bag that was leaking) and she reassured me that she was going to take care of it and she did. I feel like she pulled a rabbit out of a hat, in a way. I was nervous, but she came through – her persistence saved my day.
